100mm (4") Hargreaves Premier LCC Cast Iron Soil Holdfast
The Hargreaves Premier LCC Soil Cast Iron range is manufactured to BS 416 and offers a comprehensive range of traditional socket / spigot pipes and fittings for above ground soil & waste systems. The system is only supplied in a black bitumen finish and is joined using the traditional caulking cord and sealant method. Hargreaves Cast Iron Premier LCC Soil is the perfect solution for conservation and heritage projects that require external cast iron soil. The Hargreaves cast iron LCC soil pipes are available from 50mm to 150mm diameters in standard lengths 2ft (0.6m), 3ft (0.914m), 4ft (1.219m) and 6ft (1.829m), all Premier LCC soil pipe and fittings are based on imperial dimensions to ensure compatibility with existing installations when replacing or extending pipework. Ornamental ear bands are available in 9 standard designs to fit all sizes of Premier LCC soil pipes.
- Fixing driven into the wall and secures around the barrel of the soil pipe
- Correctly installed and maintained cast iron pipe systems can last in excess of 100 years
- Cost effective over the whole life of a building
- Extremely low waste at end of life – scrap castings can be fully re-cycled
- Cold caulked joints can be made with 6mm caulking cord and black joint sealant. This method removes the requirement for using naked flames to melt lead on site.
- All Premier soil products are manufactured in accordance with BS416.
- Ears can be added to any LCC soil fitting on request.
- Specialist castings and fabrications can be created to fit the specific requirements of your building (pattern charges may apply).
- Low noise levels due to the sound deadening properties of cast iron.

Delivery Charges
We can offer a free standard delivery service on specific ranges if your order reaches the thresholds stated below (Exclusions Apply). Orders under thesholds below will be charged a delivery fee. All delivery charges are calculated at basket and are dependent on the items ordered. Charge is based on delivery to mainland UK excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands where additional charges may apply – this is determined by the courier delivering the goods. For deliveries to these areas, we are happy to provide a free quotation upon request.

Delivery Dates and Times

Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your goods within the stated/requested time frame, we cannot guarantee availability from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's delivery schedules, so we would recommend not to start/schedule any work until the goods arrive. Due to logistics of various couriers and suppliers we are unable to give times of deliveries. Deliveries can take place from as earlier as 07:30 right up to 18:00 depending on the courier/haulier and considering local traffic etc.
Signing For Your Goods
All deliveries should be signed for, and we would politely request that you sign and clearly print your name so that in the unlikely event that there are any discrepancies we will have a person to contact. If a signature cannot be obtained, we will try to leave the goods in a safe location, but we cannot be held responsible for shortages or damages where goods have not been signed for.
Accepting Your Goods
Please thoroughly check you have received all expected items and any shortages/damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Large or palletised goods will be delivered to a hard standing area only. The Customer shall be solely responsible for the unloading of the Goods and the Seller shall not be liable for any damage that occurs during such unloading.
Delivery Vehicle
If goods aren't sent buy our own vehicles, they are sent buy reputable carriers such as Tufnell's, DX, DPD and Parcel Force. Heavier goods may be delivered by larger vehicles and will be off loaded by means of a pump truck; the driver will then deliver by means of the pump truck as close as possible to the property whilst remaining on a hard standing surface.
Multiple Deliveries
Sometimes goods can be delivered in multiple deliveries, this is due to some items coming direct from suppliers or our own yard. If this is the case, multiple charges will be combined at the basket.
Good Advice
Please do not arrange any labour until your materials are on site as we are unable to compensate you in the event of a late delivery.

Hargreaves Premier LCC Soil Installation and Technical Information
The Hargreaves Premier LCC soil pipe and fittings is made to fit like traditional cast iron soil systems, to retain your buildings heritage look.
- Centrally align the pipe spigot within the socket and wet the caulking cord
- Caulk the wet cord into the socket up to the 30mm from the top using a caulking iron (or anything similar) This centralises the pipe and provides a backing for the sealant.
- Fill the top 30mm of the socket with black joint sealant - The manufacturer recommends CT-1 Sealant (click to see hargreaves foundry recommended sealant here S0007).
- Once filled, smooth the sealant level with the top of the socket to provide a neat appearance and seal the joint
