Extruded aluminium gutters are a fantastic option for new build and refurbishment applications due to their smooth lines, clean appearance and robust properties.
The silicone injection system (SIS) jointing method combined with the long available lengths makes this system easy to fit, maintain and has a large rainwater capacity to provide drainage for all sizes of pitched roofs.

Delivery Charges
We can offer a free standard delivery service on specific ranges if your order reaches the thresholds stated below (Exclusions Apply). Orders under thesholds below will be charged a delivery fee. All delivery charges are calculated at basket and are dependent on the items ordered. Charge is based on delivery to mainland UK excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands where additional charges may apply – this is determined by the courier delivering the goods. For deliveries to these areas, we are happy to provide a free quotation upon request.

Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your goods within the stated/requested time frame, we cannot guarantee availability from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's delivery schedules, so we would recommend not to start/schedule any work until the goods arrive. Due to logistics of various couriers and suppliers we are unable to give times of deliveries. Deliveries can take place from as earlier as 07:30 right up to 18:00 depending on the courier/haulier and considering local traffic etc.
Signing For Your Goods
All deliveries should be signed for, and we would politely request that you sign and clearly print your name so that in the unlikely event that there are any discrepancies we will have a person to contact. If a signature cannot be obtained, we will try to leave the goods in a safe location, but we cannot be held responsible for shortages or damages where goods have not been signed for.
Accepting Your Goods
Please thoroughly check you have received all expected items and any shortages/damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Large or palletised goods will be delivered to a hard standing area only. The Customer shall be solely responsible for the unloading of the Goods and the Seller shall not be liable for any damage that occurs during such unloading.
Delivery Vehicle
If goods aren't sent buy our own vehicles, they are sent buy reputable carriers such as Tufnell's, DX, DPD and Parcel Force. Heavier goods may be delivered by larger vehicles and will be off loaded by means of a pump truck; the driver will then deliver by means of the pump truck as close as possible to the property whilst remaining on a hard standing surface.
Multiple Deliveries
Sometimes goods can be delivered in multiple deliveries, this is due to some items coming direct from suppliers or our own yard. If this is the case, multiple charges will be combined at the basket.
Good Advice
Please do not arrange any labour until your materials are on site as we are unable to compensate you in the event of a late delivery.

Sentinel Aluminium Modern Ogee Gutter And Fittings
We advise that you ensure the fixing background (e.g fascia board) is securely fixed, level and able to support the weight of the gutter at full capacity and that the roof overhang is correct.
Sentinel Modern Ogee guttering is a direct fix system, so no need for extra bracketry.
1-Modern Ogee is fitted direct to the fascia board at 600 mm centres and has pre-drilled holes for fixing. Start by deciding whether to fit the gutter level or with a fall to 1:600. Ideally using a string line or laser level, set out position from bottom edge of gutter.
2-Fit outlets and angles first. With the use of a plumb or laser line to set outlets over gullies. Fix gutter lengths utilising the pre-drilled fixing holes at 600 mm centres in the rear face of the gutter.
3-After outlets are positioned fit corners if applicable and then proceed to fit gutter lengths between corners and outlets.
4-Place the union in the gutter adjacent to the joint. Ensure that all fixing surfaces are clean and dry. Apply 2 x 6mm beads of low modulus sealant to each side of the joint.
5-Push bolts through the sole of the gutter from the underside, lift and slide the union across the joint making sure the slotted holes in the union are fi lled with sealant as the union is pressed into place.
6-Apply nuts and washers and gently tighten (Do not overtighten as this may force the sealant out of the joint). Clean off any excess sealant to either side of the joint or apply additional as required to create a smooth bead.

Jointing
Any use of sealant must not be carried out in wet weather or in temperatures below 5°C or above 50°C. All Joint surfaces must be perfectly clean and dry. Only a low modulus sealant must be used to prevent early failure. Ensure that the gutter joint sockets/spigots are correctly aligned with each other to ensure free thermal movement (3-4mm) within the gutter joint.
Model Specification:
ARP heavy grade ‘Sentinel’ Gutters & fittings to BS 2997 (EN612) using 6063 T6 grade extruded aluminium in accordance with BS 1474: 1974. Materials to have factory applied Polyester Powder Coat to all significant surfaces in accordance with BS EN 12206 Matt/Satin/Gloss* finish, or alternatively plain aluminium Mill Finish. All to be supplied by Aluminium Roofline Products Ltd. Joints to be loose union connector sealed by application of Arbosil 1096 Low Modulus Silicone Sealant in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifi cation & guidelines. Gutter to be fixed by fascia brackets at 750mm centres with supplementary brackets at or near fittings. Fixing for brackets to be 5mm x 25mm countersunk stainless steel screws (dependant on substrate).
