Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your goods within the stated/requested time frame, we cannot guarantee availability from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's delivery schedules, so we would recommend not to start/schedule any work until the goods arrive. Due to logistics of various couriers and suppliers we are unable to give times of deliveries. Deliveries can take place from as earlier as 07:30 right up to 18:00 depending on the courier/haulier and considering local traffic etc.
 

Signing For Your Goods

All deliveries should be signed for, and we would politely request that you sign and clearly print your name so that in the unlikely event that there are any discrepancies we will have a person to contact. If a signature cannot be obtained, we will try to leave the goods in a safe location, but we cannot be held responsible for shortages or damages where goods have not been signed for.
 

Accepting Your Goods

Please thoroughly check you have received all expected items and any shortages/damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Large or palletised goods will be delivered to a hard standing area only. The Customer shall be solely responsible for the unloading of the Goods and the Seller shall not be liable for any damage that occurs during such unloading.
 

Delivery Vehicle

If goods aren't sent buy our own vehicles, they are sent buy reputable carriers such as Tufnell's, DX, DPD and Parcel Force. Heavier goods may be delivered by larger vehicles and will be off loaded by means of a pump truck; the driver will then deliver by means of the pump truck as close as possible to the property whilst remaining on a hard standing surface.
 

Multiple Deliveries

Sometimes goods can be delivered in multiple deliveries, this is due to some items coming direct from suppliers or our own yard. If this is the case, multiple charges will be combined at the basket.
 

Good Advice

Please do not arrange any labour until your materials are on site as we are unable to compensate you in the event of a late delivery.

Cast Iron Style Guttering and fittings including the range of soil pipe and fittings from Brett Martin offer a choice of eight colours in their cascade range to suit classic or contemporary aesthetics for domestic or commercial properties.

The Cascade range has been sympathetically designed with full consideration to original features of dimensions and detailing to provide the heritage gutter/downpipe style without compromising the architectural integrity of traditionally designed building and renovation projects.
In addition to Classic Black, Cascade is available in a choice of heritage colours including Chartwell Green, Anthracite Grey, Oxford Blue, Olive Green, Graphite Grey, Sandstone and Porcelain White.

How many fascia brackets do i need for my cast iron effect plastic guttering?

Gutter support spacing should normally not exceed 900mm.

Roofs with a pitch exceeding 35° and/or with smooth surfaces and/or are subject to heavy snow loading, support spacing should not exceed 600mm. Various gutter angles incorporate fixing positions which can be drilled for fixing. If the angle is fixed to the fascia board, adjacent support brackets should be no more than 900mm away. If the angle is not fixed the brackets should be no more than 150mm away.

Does the Brett Martin Cast Iron Style Guttering range come with a Guarantee?

This Guarantee covers a period of 10 years from date of purchase and covers unusual warping, splitting and discolouration providing the system has been installed following manufacturer’s instructionsand excludes any coating, paint or other surface treatment applied to thesystem (with the exception of the Cast Iron Stylerange whereaspecific Brett Martin formulated coating has been applied to components), damage caused by external agents, fair wear and tear from normal aging and does not apply to consequential losses but to replacement of defective materials. How do i connect my cast effect guttering to my downpipe?

Cascade plastic guttering is connected to the downpipe through a running outlet shown below.

What is the difference between a internal and external stop ends?

The difference between a internal and an external cascade gutter stop end is that an internal stopend will push into a socket, for example one side of a running outlet. Whereas an external stop end has an inbuilt socket and clips over a plain peice of guttering.
Please note when using the 112mm half round, 115mm deepstyle and 170mm industrial gutter systems are used the stop end are universal, but when using the 106mm prostyle range you will need to use left and right handed stop ends.

What is the difference between an external and internal gutter angle?

When using the 112mm half round, 115mm deepstyle and 170mm industrial cascade gutter systems gutter angles are universal. Whereas when using the 106mm Prostyle Cascade range the internal gutter angles will go on the inside of the square shown below where as the an external gutter angle is used on the outside.
