What is a Penstock?
Penstocks act as permanent water gates that control water flow from one place to another and can be manually adjusted as needed. Common applications include use on waterways, power plants, industrial effluent plants, hydro power, sewerage / wastewater treatment plants, drainage and flood control.
The penstock has a vertically moving door made from HDPE with stainless steel supports. It features an EDPM rubber lip seal for effective sealing against the back plate within a stainless-steel frame. Installation involves compressing a rubber sealing tape between the frame and the mounting wall to ensure a secure seal.
