Natural Copper Downpipe from Lindab is an exceptional rainwater system, due to its remarkable aesthetics and range of benefits you can only get with copper gutters and downpipes.
Copper provides a range of qualities that contributes to providing an excellent rainwater system, the material is exceptionally durable due to its natural corrosion resistance and is expected to last up to a century.
Copper is also naturally poisonous to plant life, meaning less maintenance to remove any moss or algae growth.
The Natural Copper range of downpipes is one of the most environmentally friendly rainwater systems available on the market. This is due to the materials being manufactured using low carbon emissions processes and the natural copper can be completely recycled at the end of its life span.
Due to a chemical reaction known as oxidation, Copper naturally becomes green throughout the years as it reacts with oxygen in the air. The green colour is the natural shade of the patina that forms over the copper surface which protects the copper from deterioration and creates a light bluish-green facade.
